NASA Federal Credit Union CD Rates

At NASA Federal Credit Union, CD rates are also called share certificate (SC) rates. At this financial establishment, dividends are compounded and credited every month.

For investors 23 years old and younger there is a 12 month CD with a minimum opening deposit of $50 which has 1.05% APY and a dividend rate of 1.045%. There is also a 12 month CD with a minimum opening deposit of $250 that has 0.70% APY and 0.70% dividend rate.

The 6 month CD, a minimum deposit of $1000 has 0.70% APY with 0.70% dividend rate. The 12 month CD has a 0.80% APY and 0.80% dividend rate. The 24 month CD has a 1.40% APY and 1.39% dividend rate.  The 36 month CD has a 2.20% APY and a 2.18%. The 48 month CD has 2.65% APY and 2.62% dividend rate. The 60 month CD has a 3.00% APY and 2.96% dividend rate. All of these CD’s require a minimum deposit of $1000 to open an account.

NASA Federal Credit Union has an October Special bank CD rates available to their customers.  The 9 month CD has a 1.50% APY with a 1.49% dividend rate. The 18 month has 2.20% APY and 2.18% dividend rate. The 55 month CD has 3.25% APY with a 3.20% dividend rate. All of these special rates require a minimum deposit of $5000.

These rates were posted 10/1/09 and were effective as of October 8, 2009 but are subject to change without prior notice at the discretion of the board of directors of NASA Federal Credit Union. CD rates or share certificates are subject to penalty upon early withdraw.
