These CDs can be held for a predetermined length of time with a range that is set upon deposit. The best rates are from the 84 month CD which has an interest rate of 1.34%, 1.44%, 1.54%, 1.64%, and 1.73%. The 60 to 84 month CDs have an interest rate of 1.29%, 1.39%, 1.49%, 1.59%, and 1.69%. The ranges of interest rates are directly related to the amount of deposit that is made. The first is for a deposit of $500 to $4,999.99, the second is for $5,000 to $9,999.99, the third is for $10,000 to $24,999.99, for the fourth it is $25,000 to $49,999.99, and the last rate is for a deposit of $50,000 to $99,999.99.
